Pirelli Strengthens North American Team

Pirelli has announced its decision to restructure its management team in North America to stay ahead in the challenging and competitive marketplace of today.

Pirelli has appointed Pietro Berardi to the position of CEO for the North American region, effective March 1, 2020. Additionally, to continue with the actions of the company currently underway, Marco Crola will take over the role of Chairman for this position.

Berardi brings with him his consolidated North American experience in the automotive industry and aftermarket, to his new role. He has previously served in key senior roles in the Alliance (Nissan-Renault-Mitsubishi) and FCA Group (Magneti Marelli).

As the CEO of Pirelli’s North American division, Berardi’s responsibilities will include strengthening the business’s command of the market and develop it further from its current stage. Additionally, he will be in charge of executing strategies and commercial policies that are aligned with Pirelli’s plans to consolidate its position as a leader in the Premium and Prestige segments. Berardi will also continue to improve the company’s relationships with strategic clients, as well as carry on with the process of integrating the Original Equipment and Replacement channels.
