Magna Tyres Group has announced that it has hired two new team members to its North American team to cope with increasing tire demand.
The company opened its North American offices around a year ago and has seen a significant increase in its brand presence and demand for Magna tires since then. So far, its sales, market share and loyal customer base are aligned with the company’s long-term vision. Magna Tyres Group expects further increase in the future as well.
“Since last year, a large part of the USA/Canada industry was introduced to the Magna brand. We have shown what we are capable of as the largest 2nd tier tire manufacturer, resulting in a continuously growing customer base and a number of valuable partnerships. This year we will continue to roll out our successful strategy and strengthen the Magna footprint across the North American continent,” according to Magna Tyres Group.
The new appointments to its Canadian and U.S. locations are to help the company in achieving better coverage in the countries.
Andy Luu has been appointed by the Magna Tyres Group as Logistics Manager in Canada. With several years of experience in the supply chain industry, Luu aims at improving the supply chain for Magna Tyres further in Canada.
J.D. Lewis has been appointed as a Sales Manager for the company’s U.S. division.
With significant growth over the past year in the Canadian tire market, Magna Tyres is seeing a further increase in demand for its products. Therefore, Magna Tyres Canada is planning to shift to a new office in Markham on March 1. Expanding operations and demand have made relocation necessary to increase both office and warehouse spaces. The new office is a symbol of commitment from the company to its current and potential clientele.
