Groupe Touchette is moving to a much bigger distribution centre—a warehouse that can contain twice as many tires. The Canadian-owned tire distributor, with more than 30 warehouses across Canada, confirms the relocation of its Regina distribution centre.
Officially in service since August 27th, 2018, this warehouse is 21,000 square feet and it can contain 24,000 tires—twice the capacity of the old warehouse.
This means an improvement in services, a wider tire and brand inventory, along with an extended delivery system specially adapted to the market requirements and realities amongst other services.
“It is a win-win situation! The distribution centre will enable us to provide better service, better access to products and a faster delivery capacity. This warehouse provides eight permanent positions and a potential of six to eight additional employees during high seasons,” says Jesse Hawken, Warehouse Manager, Regina Distribution Centre.
This size of distribution centre reinforces Groupe Touchette’s presence in Saskatchewan and is part of the company’s development plan—gaining a firm foothold across the country and sustain rapid growth by always improving their services.
