Valvoline Inc. has launched its annual in-store fundraising drive supporting the Children’s Miracle Network across North America. Running throughout November, the campaign engages motorists visiting participating network locations across Canada and the United States, including Great Canadian Oil Change, Oil Changers, and Valvoline Instant Oil Change service facilities.
For Canadian quick-lube franchisees, independent service operators, and multi-unit shop managers, community-oriented retail programmes play a measurable role in strengthening local customer retention. To encourage participation, donating motorists receive a voucher granting a 10 per cent discount on a future maintenance visit, directly incentivizing repeat preventive maintenance appointments during slower winter service cycles.
According to Valvoline President and CEO Lori Flees, the philanthropic alliance has generated nearly $10 million for regional pediatric health centres since 2009, with 100 per cent of customer contributions routed directly to local children’s hospitals. Service facility managers can integrate such charitable counter campaigns to elevate staff morale and establish a positive competitive differentiator against rival quick-service lube providers.
