Bosch Mobility Aftermarket has launched an 80-SKU automotive bulb programme for the North American market, designed to service 95 per cent of domestic and import vehicles in operation. The catalogue consolidates lighting replacement across five product lines, comprising 48 halogen SKUs, 24 miniature bulbs, and eight high-intensity discharge (HID) part numbers.
For Canadian automotive parts jobbers, commercial fleet maintenance supervisors, and independent mechanical shop operators, bulb procurement often leads to cluttered parts drawers, dead stock, and lost bay billability. A high-density programme enables counter staff and service advisers to fulfill immediate daytime running light (DRL) and forward lighting replacements without stocking dozens of slow-moving references.
According to Bosch, the portfolio is structured around specific customer operating demands. The Pure Light line restores factory specifications, Pure Light HID delivers high-output xenon illumination, and the Long Life line offers an operating life of 2,400 hours—a key reliability factor for Canadian vehicles with mandatory daytime running lights. Complementary Lumen Plus and Lumen White lines provide performance-focused light output and whiter colour temperatures above 3,500K. This structured segmentation equips technicians to offer structured service upsells while maintaining high inventory turnover.
