The Midas location at 1951 St. Joseph Boulevard in Orleans gifted a fully refurbished Nissan Rogue to Marie-Andrée Champagne, a retired Royal Canadian Navy veteran, on August 18.

An Ottawa-Gatineau shop owner and NAPA Auto Parts collaborated to provide refurbished, reliable transportation to a military veteran and mother of three.

The Midas location at 1951 St. Joseph Boulevard in Orleans gifted a fully refurbished Nissan Rogue to Marie-Andrée Champagne, a retired Royal Canadian Navy veteran, on August 18.

The donation was executed through Midas’s Project Spark initiative, a community-focused program designed to help individuals regain reliable transportation.

To restore the vehicle, franchisee Ken Kang, who operates five Midas locations across Ottawa and Gatineau, partnered with NAPA for donated replacement components, while shop technicians volunteered their time to complete all necessary mechanical repairs.

For aftermarket shop owners, the initiative highlights how local service centers and parts suppliers can partner to leverage shop capabilities for community-level impact.
