Reporting directly to SEMA CEO Mike Spagnola, Pagel brings extensive B2B trade association and event management experience.
The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) has appointed Brian Pagel to its executive leadership team as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). In this newly established role, Pagel will align SEMA’s business strategy, marketing, membership development, sales, and event operations to drive growth across the specialty-equipment and automotive aftermarket sectors.
Reporting directly to SEMA CEO Mike Spagnola, Pagel brings extensive B2B trade association and event management experience. He previously served as Executive Vice President at Emerald, where he oversaw strategic partnerships and a portfolio of 64 trade shows and buyer events with $130 million in P&L responsibility.
“Brian brings the experience, industry knowledge, and strategic mindset needed to help SEMA deliver even greater value to our members and the broader specialty-equipment community,” said Mike Spagnola, SEMA CEO. “As a nonprofit association, our focus is on reinvesting in programs, advocacy, events, research, education, and services that help our industry succeed.”
“I’m honored to join SEMA and support its work on behalf of the specialty-equipment industry,” said Brian Pagel. “SEMA has a powerful mission and an important role in helping businesses innovate, grow, and succeed. I look forward to working with teams across the association to strengthen member value.”
For Canadian automotive aftermarket manufacturers, distributors, and specialty builders who rely on SEMA’s advocacy, research, and annual trade shows, the executive appointment signals continued investment in member resources and North American industry networking platforms.
