The DCP 800 is engineered to evaluate common-rail high-pressure fuel pumps across light-duty passenger cars, commercial transport trucks, and off-road machinery.
Expanding its technical infrastructure for diesel fuel-injection servicing, Bosch has unveiled the DCP 800 (Diagnostic Common-Rail Pump) test bench. Set for its live industry debut at Automechanika Frankfurt (September 8–12, 2026), the platform is designed to help independent diesel repair facilities, heavy-duty service hubs, and commercial fleet maintenance shops test high-pressure fuel delivery components with high precision and speed.
High-Performance Diagnostics Up to 2,700 Bar
The DCP 800 is engineered to evaluate common-rail high-pressure fuel pumps across light-duty passenger cars, commercial transport trucks, and off-road machinery:
-
25-kW Direct-Drive Architecture: The bench utilizes a heavy-duty 25-kW electric motor directly coupled to the drive mechanism, eliminating intermediate systems to maintain exact rotational stability and torque under extreme pressures reaching 2,700 bar.
-
Automated Regulation & Electronic Measurement: Automated inlet and back-pressure regulation paired with electronic flow measurement ensures consistent diagnostic data that meets original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standards.
-
Broad Component & Retrofit Compatibility: The system services Bosch common-rail pump series spanning from CP1 to CPN6. To protect existing shop capital investments, it maintains adapter compatibility with legacy Bosch EPS 815 and EPS 708 test kits (including CP1, CP3, and CBX8 series).
Streamlining Workshop Workflows and Fleet Uptime
For fleet managers and independent repair shop owners, diagnostic throughput directly impacts vehicle utilization rates and profitability:
-
20-Minute Diagnostic Cycles: The system executes standardized, automated testing routines in approximately 20 minutes regardless of the application, significantly accelerating the diagnostic process.
-
Ergonomic Design & Flexible Setup: Featuring a three-sided open access layout for component handling, the bench introduces a rapid-mount pump coupling system. The operating console can be mounted on either side of the unit to fit varying workshop floor configurations.
Combined with Bosch’s existing common-rail injector testing solutions, the DCP 800 allows specialized repair shops to offer complete end-to-end testing of diesel fuel systems from a single source.
