The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is hosting a free webinar on Tuesday, June 2 at 4:00 p.m. ET entitled “Engine Mechanical Testing Using Cranking Vacuum.”
In this session, John Thornton with Autotrain and Automotive Seminars will discuss engine mechanical testing using a pressure/vacuum transducer. The discussion will show why a cranking vacuum test can be very effective and reasonably simple. This test can be performed in minutes and can provide a wealth of information regarding the mechanical condition of a gasoline engine. Discussion will also include an analysis of known-good readings and the diagnosis of engine mechanical failures.
Participants in this webinar will receive a certificate of attendance for the live session. Please allow one week for automatic email delivery of the certificate.
After registering, a confirmation email will be sent containing information about joining the webinar. Those who are not sure if they can attend are encouraged to register as they will receive a follow-up email with details on how to attend a recorded session, if available. Access to recorded sessions is reserved for those who register for the live event.
