Akebono Brake Corporation announced the appointment of Todd Hammond as Regional Sales Manager for the Northeast region.

Hammond brings more than three decades of expertise in the automotive aftermarket industry, a proven ability to drive sales growth, and a relationship-driven approach that has consistently delivered results across major accounts and markets.

Throughout his distinguished career, Hammond has built a reputation as a results-oriented leader with a talent for expanding product lines, managing large key accounts, and cultivating lasting partnerships. His most recent role at First Brands saw him lead significant product line growth while supporting customers through hands-on training and strategic account management — a hallmark of his practical, people-first style.

Prior to First Brands, Hammond held impactful sales positions at Brake Parts Inc. and NAPA, where he consistently delivered double-digit revenue growth and helped strengthen market share for his organizations. His broad network across North America and expansive knowledge of the aftermarket make him uniquely positioned to accelerate Akebono’s presence in the Northeast.
