Now available, AIA Canada just released its 2025 Annual Report highlighting a year of strong progress for the auto care industry.

Key achievements include:

  • Workforce development: More than 220 participants were engaged in the Innovation in Automotive Training program across four Ontario colleges, and over 4,600 I-CAR Canada enrollments were recorded, reinforcing the industry’s commitment to up-skilling.
  • Right to repair advocacy: Nearly 300 letters were sent during the federal election, Quebec’s new regulations came into force, and international engagement saw increased momentum toward a national framework in 2025.
  • Industry insights: Four research reports examining vehicle trends were published, and topics included consumer behaviours, electric vehicles, and Right to Repair.
  • Industry connection: 16 events were held nationwide, including the Canadian Auto Care Industry Conference with more than 850 attendees.
  • Leadership transition: Announcement that Emily Chung would assume the role of president and CEO in 2026.
