Dayco is adding coverage with more than 60 new part numbers available to the N.A. distribution channel.

The following new product introductions (NPIs) include 25 timing chain kits, 27 serpentine belt kits, 3 tensioners, 7 pulleys and 4 hose applications, providing added coverage for 87 million vehicles in operation (VIO).

Timing Chain Kits – These new kit part numbers cover almost 40 million VIO, including many Hyundai, Acura, Nissan, Toyota and Ford vehicles. Dayco’s rapidly growing timing chain kit line streamlines installation, reduces the risk of error and ensures parts are designed to work together for enhanced vehicle performance. Dayco backs its kits with detailed installation information and a 2 year, 60,000-mile parts and labor warranty.

Serpentine Belt Kits – Building on its system solutions success, Dayco is adding 27 serpentine belt kits for just over 24 million in VIO. These kits include OE quality pulleys, tensioners and belts needed for thorough front-end drive system maintenance.

Tensioners – One HD tensioner specific to Kenworth engines and two automotive tensioners for specific Lexus, Toyota and Nissan vehicles are designed to reduce the risk of premature accessory bearing failure due to high tension when a new belt is installed, as well as lessen the risk of belt noise and slippage.

Pulleys – Featuring a mix of both heavy-duty and light-duty pulleys, seven pulley part numbers cover approximately 14 million VIO. Each one of Dayco’s OE-quality pulleys is designed using 3D computer-aided design and finite element analysis to guarantee optimal engineering and maximum structural integrity.

Hoses – Four-part numbers that meet or exceed all relevant OE and SAE standards have been validated. These hoses are engineered and formulated to handle exposure to oil, mud, salt, road debris, ozone, coolants and temperature variations.
