Midas, one of the world’s largest providers of automotive services, was recently named one of just 75 Most Profitable Franchises by Franchise Business Review.

Franchise Business Review, a franchise market research firm that performs independent surveys of franchisee satisfaction, provides the only rankings of franchises based solely on actual franchisee satisfaction and performance. Franchise Business Review publishes its rankings of top franchises semi-annually in its Guide to Today’s Top Franchises, as well as industry reports throughout the year that highlight research on the top franchises in specific sectors.

To identify the award-winning companies on this year’s list, Franchise Business Review analyzed data from more than 35,000 franchise owners representing 365 brands regarding their overall satisfaction with their brand and their likelihood to recommend it to others. Other factors include the annual income of franchise owners and the minimum startup capital requirement.

Midas’s franchisees were surveyed on 33 benchmark questions about their experience and satisfaction regarding critical areas of their franchise systems, including training & support, operations, franchisor/franchisee relations, and financial opportunity.

This year’s survey reflected Midas’s strongest performance yet, with improvements across every single category and the highest overall score in the company’s history. The highest scores revealed that Midas franchisees are highly engaged with and enjoy the business and organization, they have strong respect for Midas, and are also likely to recommend the business to others.

One resource Midas provides to its franchisees is profit workshops, where franchisees are invited to attend to gain valuable insights along with networking. The most satisfied franchises were significantly more engaged, with 76% planning to attend this year. This indicates that proactive learning and development opportunities could be the key drivers of satisfaction.
