Premier automotive aftermarket expo will offer a huge selection of information sessions, product displays and workshops.
From September 10-14, the Automotive Aftermarket Industry will descend upon the massive Messe Frankfurt in Frankfurt, Germany, for one of the biggest global auto care expos in the world. Automechanika Frankfurt brings together leaders, and aftermarket professionals across the automotive service, parts and collision repair industries with four days of workshops, product displays, information sessions and networking opportunities.

Driving Transformation
Under the theme of “Driving Transformation,” a big emphasis at this year’s expo, will centre around sustainability. For the first time, Automechanika will feature a Sustainability Court, centred around Hall 5.0 at the Messe. This will feature an exhibition area, as well as a stage and networking lounge.
Innovation is also a key topic at Autmechanika 2024, and the Innovation4Mobility program, will feature a range of advanced industry subjects, including E-mobility solutions, alternative fuels, AI vehicle connectivity and digital/virtual solutions. Taking place at Hall 3.0 in the Messe with its own stage, networking lounge and exhibitor space, where organizations, start-ups and university projects will showcase their latest products, ideas and solutions for the automotive aftermarket of tomorrow.
Innovation Awards
Adjacent to the Innovation4Mobility expo, is the Future Mobility Park and also the renowed Automechanika Innovation Awards.
Presented during the festive awards ceremony on September 10, there will be awards presented in nine different categories (plus a green award) each of which has two prize categories—nominee and winner for outstanding technological innovation. The winning products in each category will also be displayed in the Innovation4Mobility exhibition hall area, for attendees to view firsthand during the event.
One of the big draws of Automechanika Frankfurt, is the sheer variety of advanced onsite education, training and workshops offered during the event. There will a comprehensive list of collision industry sessions including vocational training for students, as well as workshops that focus on scanning and ADAS calibrations, measuring, body and dent repair, bonding and sealing techniques, painting practices, as well as workplace safety, including handling mixed material vehicles and EVs, as well as damage assessment and claims management. These sessions will run the entire duration of the event, and concurrently alongside others taking place at the Academy Hall 8.0, Academy Hall 11.1, E-Commerce Lounge and Sustainability Court.
Emissions reduction
Given the “Driving Transformation” theme of Automechanika Frankfurt 2024, and a strong emphasis on sustainability, a lot of these sessions will be focusing on emissions reduction, alternative fuels, carbon foot print tracking, the circular economy (including reusing existing parts and refurbishing older vehicles, including EVs), plus ways in which Artificial Intelligence and machine learning can be properly leveraged to help individual businesses, supply chains and the aftermarket sector as a whole raise the bar in terms of efficiency, safety, sustainability and customer service.
There will also be a strong focus on people including, recruitment and career development in the industry, including hiring practices and providing a defined career path for the newest workers from Generation Z, which are now starting to enter the workplace in significant numbers and tend to have very different views on work practices and career development.
All in all, Automechanika Frankfurt looks set to be a veritable feast of top tier ideas, Information, networking, training, product displays and fun activities related to the automotive aftermarket.
