Midas announced that franchisee Mohammed Zain and his team broke ground on Wednesday, April 17 for a new Midas franchise location in Calgary Northwest at 150 Nolandridge Cres NW in Calgary.

This is not just any project; it’s the culmination of four years of passion, dedication, and relentless effort for Midas franchisee, Mohammed Zain, and his team. What started as a bold idea in 2020 has blossomed into a remarkable reality, thanks to the unwavering support of the Midas team and builder, MakeGroup. 

This new venture is set to revolutionize the automotive service landscape in Canada with its ultra-modern showroom and cutting-edge facilities.

“We are transitioning from our roots as a traditional muffler shop to becoming a beacon of luxury auto service, showcasing the finest in technology and customer experience,” said Zain. “The new 6,000 square-foot location is unlike any other service centre in Calgary; it will provide a one-stop shop of auto services for cars, trucks and RVs.”

The shop will provide superior value and comfort, complete with luxury couches, and a kitchen in the waiting area, plus state-of-the-art technology showcasing Midas’ service expertise including advanced diagnostic tools for advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) such as parking assist, as well as digital vehicle inspections (DVI) that will help to provide transparency and empower customers to be more informed in their car care decisions. The walls will provide a window into the service area so customers can observe their car being serviced.
