Powerful, compact, and simple to use, GoPure GP5212 effectively filters out airborne allergens including pollen and mould that can pass through the cabin filters typically found in passenger vehicles. Standard cabin air filters typically trap particulates in the 5-100 micron range while the Philips GoPure GP5212 can filter particles as small as .015 microns, including allergens, viruses, and bacteria, as well as toxic gases. Exceptional clean air delivery rate
The GP5212’s SelectFilter Plus filtration technology removes 90% of airborne pollen, and a standard sedan or SUV can be 50% filtered in just 10 minutes. The GoPure GP5212 quickly removes up to 100 different types of pollutants and microbes, while neutralizing unpleasant odours in the vehicle. Its compact design makes it easy to deploy anywhere in the vehicle. It is designed to hang from seat backs, slide under seats, or be strapped to the console armrest.
The Philips GoPure GP5212 provides an exceptional Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) of 16 m3/hour for particulate matter down to 2.5 microns (PM2.5). The advanced filter technology removes harmful NO2/SO2 fumes and toxic gases from road traffic that can be brought into the cabin by the vehicle’s ventilation. By treating nitrogen dioxide (NO2) at a CADR of 13 m3 per hour and Sulphur dioxide (SO2) at 7.9 m3 per hour, the GoPure GP5212 reduces the exposure to dangerous levels of air pollution that can be much higher inside the car than outside.
Philips SelectFilter Plus technology
The GoPure GP5212 uses Philips SelectFilter Plus technology that employs a 3-stage filter. The first stage is a pre-filter designed to capture large particles such as pet hair, dust, and airborne dirt. The second stage features a HESA (High Efficiency Sorbent Agent) filter that scrubs out toxic gases and harmful chemicals and uses a powerful absorption and oxidation process to remove smoke, odours, and gases. The final stage employs a HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter that has been shown to remove over 99% of airborne allergens, bacteria, and viruses in laboratory testing.
The Philips GoPure GP5212 is designed to operate automatically, so the driver can focus on operating the vehicle. When plugged into the vehicle’s USB auxiliary power outlet, the unit turns on and off with the vehicle’s ignition. GoPure GP5212 features a two-speed fan and an indicator light that signals the need for a filter replacement. The GoPure GP5212 has an extremely compact and lightweight footprint of only 7 in. x 7 in. x 2.7 in. and 1.7 lbs. This allows for easy and convenient installation anywhere in the vehicle.
