Slapshots for a Cause Update

Mark Potts of DRiV has updated us on Slapshots for a Cause Tournament Charity event and brings some good news!

Mark says, “Thanks again for your support of Slapshots for a Cause Tournament held on May 25^th, 2023, at the CAA Centre in Brampton. After some time, all the funds have been collected for the charity event. We surpassed our $7,000 goal and this morning I was able to present Marianna Kaminska, Executive Coordinator at Canada-Ukraine Foundation a cheque for $7,250.“

Slapshots for a Cause wishes to thank all the sponsor companies who united for this cause. We hope that a day comes soon where the terrible Russian invasion war in Ukraine is behind us. We pray for a peaceful resolve to many millions of Ukrainian families impacted, and countless thousands of Ukrainians who now call Canada their home with relatives still in Ukraine.
