A big focus for Plews-Edelmann over the last 12 months has been its approach to providing a Total Solution for power steering service in the automotive aftermarket.

During a visit to the Plews-Edelmann (booth A3461) at AAPEX 2022, Autosphere got a chance to talk with Dan Billie, CEO and Tony Edwards, Vice President, Business Development, about some of the new product offerings.

The company has created what it calls the Total Solution via its Edelmann Elite power steering line, which now includes power steering rack and pinions, as well as pumps, gearboxes, hoses, coolers, filters and fluids. Edwards showcased a complete Total Solution kit for a late-model General Motors application, noting that Plews-Edelmann is unique in the market by offering a complete installation kit where each component is upgraded and redesigned to improve upon the OE original to ensure maximum durability and reliability. The proof is in the pudding and each product in the Elite power steering line is supported by a complete North American supply chain and a 100-year, 1 million-mile (1,609,344 km) warranty. “Edelmann Elite was created to be a true, one-stop resource for all of our customers’ power steering needs,” Edwards explained. “No other supplier in North America can match the quality, reliability, and coverage of our program and deliver the full range of power steering components we offer.”
