At this year’s AAPEX in Las Vegas, ZF Aftermarket received a Best New Product award for its line of TRW Electric Blue brake pads.

Designed specifically for electric vehicle applications, these new brake pads represent a game-changer and significant step toward aftermarket hard parts support for EVs.

Currently available in the U.S. market these new pads generated considerable buzz at AAPEX and we will be keeping our readers informed as to if and when they become available in Canada.

Another major announcement for ZF Aftermarket at AAPEX was a line of passenger car air suspension compressors courtesy of WABCO, which was recently acquired by ZF.

With 24 SKUs, the WABCO line of air compressors is currently available for vehicle applications from Audi, Dodge, Jaguar and Porsche.

These compressors are fully ACES/PIES compliant and the OE-design units form the core of the Electronically Controlled Air Suspension (ECAS) systems found on these vehicles. These modern ECAS systems support advanced driving capabilities as well as enhance ride comfort and vehicle safety.

WABCO’s line of compressors represents a complete plug-and-play solution for the air suspension systems in these vehicles, restoring compressed air operation via a single Air Supply Unit that’s both easy to install and cost-effective.
