Mike Judd, President and COO of Stryten Manufacturing has shared this news with us and we wanted to pass it along. It concerns news of the Exide brand of batteries.

“I am pleased to share that Atlas Holdings has successfully completed its acquisition of substantially all of the operating assets of the Americas business of Exide Technologies, LLC, and has launched Stryten Manufacturing, which is comprised of Exide’s former transportation and GNB Industrial Power operations.

“Stryten Manufacturing will operate two divisions in Canada; Stryten Canada Inc will serve the transportation market and GNB Industrial Power, a division of Stryten Canada Inc, will serve the motive and network power market. Stryten Canada Inc will continue to feature the Exide brand of batteries across Canada.

“The creation of Stryten Manufacturing as a standalone company to provide industry-leading energy storage and power management solutions, combined with Atlas as a strong new partner, enables us to service our customers reliably and remain highly focused on their success. Atlas has positioned Stryten for a successful future with a strong balance sheet and financial stability, unique operational expertise and a shared commitment to superior customer service.

“Please be assured that while our company name has changed, the same team members are here to service your needs. Our product offerings and capabilities will remain the same and we are committed to providing superior customer service support during this transition.”
