The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is hosting a free webinar on Friday, June 12 at 4:00 p.m. ET entitled “What to Expect When You’re Expecting (an Entry-Level Technician).”
Many of this year’s automotive, collision and diesel graduates didn’t put their hands on a vehicle for the last two months of school and that will affect service technicians and their shops. The technician shortage is getting worse, but it doesn’t have to be for your shop.
In this training program, join Kyle Holt, president of S/P2, as he discusses how career tech schools are going to be reshaped in the years to come.
- Technicians can find out how they can make more money and be more productive by mentoring young technicians.
- Shop owners and managers will learn how to prepare their shops to beat the competition by building a pipeline of young technicians with mentoring programs and seeking out young techs with ASE certifications and industry-recognized credentials.
