Snap-on recently announced the release of its new Diagnostic Thermal Laser tool.
According to the company, this tool is equipped with enhanced troubleshooting capabilities. Laser-guided temperature readings, thermal imaging capabilities and storage for hundreds of images are all available on this single tool.
The Diagnostic Thermal Laser, as the name suggests, contains both laser and thermal components. The tool combines temperature readings of up to 1,800°F (1,000°F in thermal mode) and thermal imaging capabilities to deliver the desired performance on a wider range of applications.
Snap-on lists the following additional features of the tool:
- Thermal image blending and a visible-light camera for better detail
- Delta reading in laser mode for capturing highs, lows and delta
- Equipped to trigger capture pictures and store hundreds of images
