As part of its North American wide contest, Raybestos handed over the keys to the lucky winner of a completely restored 1953 Chevy pickup at the AAPEX Show.

This isn’t the first time that Raybestos, a company specializing in brake components which is passionate about cars, gives away a vehicle in the North-American market. This year’s vehicle is a classic pickup truck, which was immaculately restored by famous American car rebuilder, Jeff Schwartz, in collaboration with several parts suppliers. The spectacular vehicle is painted in a dazzling metallic-red finish.

The contest winner, Charles Ruder, who owns a parts store in Minnesota, also received a VIP pass to the AAPEX Show.

“This is the seventh vehicle that we’ve given away in the last ten years,” explained the Brake Parts President, whose company distributes Raybestos products. “I would’ve liked to keep it for myself… this contest ties-in the passion and nostalgia present in the culture of our industry. The vehicle selected for this year’s contest universally appeals to all generations.”
