GMC Introduces New Canyon

First-ever Canyon AT4 aims to broaden the appeal of this midsize truck..

The new 2021 GMC Canyon was recently revealed, including a first-ever Canyon AT4, engineered to optimize off-road capabilities.

“The new 2021 Canyon AT4 broadens the appeal to mid-size truck customers who live an active lifestyle,” said Duncan Aldred, vice president of Global Buick and GMC. “Much like the Sierra AT4 has attracted new customers from outside GMC, the Canyon AT4 will bring outdoor enthusiasts looking for a premium mid-size truck to GMC, with the capability, technology and refinement they’ve come to expect.”

The Canyon AT4 boosts off-road capabilities with the addition of standard equipment, including 31-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires, an off-road tuned suspension with Advanced Hill Descent Control System, a 4WD system with Eaton G80 Rear Automatic Locking Differential, and a transfer case skid plate.
