Hyundai Auto Canada wrapped up the third quarter by securing another record-breaking September across its Hyundai and Genesis brand lineups.

Surging SUV and sedan demand propelled Hyundai Auto Canada to a record-breaking close for the third quarter across Canadian dealerships.

Hyundai Auto Canada wrapped up the third quarter by securing another record-breaking September across its Hyundai and Genesis brand lineups. Sustained retail demand for key volume nameplates continues to drive sales momentum throughout the Canadian dealer network.

The Tucson SUV led brand volumes in September with 3,819 units delivered. The Elantra sedan followed with 2,794 sales, representing a 50% year-over-year surge. Meanwhile, the Kona rounded out the podium with 2,644 total transactions, bolstered by a 19% gain in electric variant sales.

Concurrently, the Genesis luxury brand achieved an all-time Canadian sales record for September with 750 units delivered. Volume was driven primarily by the GV70 SUV, which logged 504 sales—a 12% increase compared to the same period last year—as the brand approaches its 10th anniversary in Canada.

Beyond commercial results, the organization reaffirmed its philanthropic commitment through its Hyundai Hope on Wheels foundation, committing over $4.1 million in 2026 to support pediatric cancer research and care programs across Canada.
