Hyundai dealer network funds new children’s oncology wing in Ontario

Funded through new vehicle retail sales, Hyundai Canada’s Hope on Wheels initiative commits $100,000 toward a centralized pediatric cancer wing in London.
Marking Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Hyundai Hope on Wheels made its latest national tour stop at Children’s Hospital at London Health Sciences Centre, presenting a $100,000 grant to the Children’s Health Foundation. The contribution will support the construction of a dedicated hospital wing at Victoria Hospital, unifying pediatric oncology treatment and clinical research facilities.
For retail automotive dealers and industry stakeholders, the campaign demonstrates dealer-backed corporate social responsibility linked to commercial sales performance. Supported by Hyundai Canada’s nationwide network of 225 dealerships, the Hope on Wheels program has committed over $4.1 million toward Canadian pediatric research, care, and family support programs in 2026.
David Badurina, Director of Corporate Affairs and General Counsel at Hyundai Auto Canada, noted that the Ontario tour will surpass $1.1 million in regional funding announcements following upcoming events with healthcare foundations in Kingston and Ottawa.
