This exclusive commemorative edition, built on the popular SE Hybrid grade, offers a refined balance of sporty styling and modern hybrid efficiency.

Sixty years of reliability, efficiency, and continuous evolution have established the Toyota Corolla as a true icon in the global automotive industry. To celebrate six decades of history and presence on the road, the Japanese automaker is introducing the 2027 Corolla 60th Anniversary Special Edition alongside a refreshed lineup for the new model year.

This exclusive commemorative edition, built on the popular SE Hybrid grade, offers a refined balance of sporty styling and modern hybrid efficiency. Limited to just 250 units in Canada, the 60th Anniversary Special Edition will arrive at dealerships in early 2027. Buyers can choose between two exterior colors: classic White or Supersonic Red, a vibrant shade available exclusively on this model. The commemorative vehicle further stands out with custom exterior 60th Anniversary badging that replaces the standard SE badge, 18-inch machined black-finished alloy wheels, and sport seats featuring striking black and red fabric inserts. Inside the cabin, drivers will find a 10.5-inch multimedia touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, custom door sills and floor mats, and a premium JBL audio system.

In addition to this limited edition, the entire 2027 Corolla and Corolla Hatchback lineup will arrive at Canadian dealerships in fall 2026. The new model year introduces a rich new black exterior shade called Ink. The lineup continues to offer a wide variety of choices to suit every driver, featuring both gas-powered and hybrid options.

Gas-powered models are equipped with a 2.0-liter Dynamic Force 4-cylinder engine delivering 169 horsepower and 151 lb.-ft. of torque, paired with a Dynamic Shift CVT featuring a physical launch gear for responsive acceleration. This powertrain achieves a manufacturer-estimated combined fuel economy rating of up to 6.7 liters per 100 kilometers. Hybrid models rely on Toyota’s fifth-generation hybrid system, combining a 1.8-liter engine with an eCVT to produce a net 138 horsepower while achieving an impressive fuel rating of up to 4.7 liters per 100 kilometers. For added confidence in winter driving, Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive is available on the Hybrid LE grade and comes standard on Hybrid SE and XSE models.

Built on the super-rigid TNGA-C platform with a low center of gravity, the 2027 Corolla provides an agile, comfortable, and refined driving experience. Drivers can customize their drive feel using selectable Normal, Eco, and Sport driving modes.

In terms of technology, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility come standard across all grades. Safety remains a top priority, with standard Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and the complete Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 suite, which includes Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, and Lane Tracing Assist.
