The new 795-horsepower Ford Mustang

Ford Racing has introduced the all-new Mustang Dark Horse SC convertible, bringing open-air grand touring capability and high-output performance back to the Mustang lineup.

Positioned alongside the track-focused Dark Horse SC coupe, the convertible version has been engineered specifically for high-performance street driving and open-top cruising.

The powertrain features a 5.2-litre supercharged V8 producing 795 horsepower, mated to a fast-shifting seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. To maintain structural rigidity, Ford Racing engineers incorporated a lightweight magnesium tower-to-tower brace paired with a specially calibrated, next-generation MagneRide® suspension system.

Order banks for the Mustang Dark Horse SC convertible open in fall 2026, with arrival at North American Ford dealerships scheduled for spring 2027.
