CarDoor Launches a Highly Anticipated Tool

The launch comes alongside new survey data commissioned by CarDoor indicating that 56 percent of Canadians who have sold a vehicle report a negative experience.
Canadian automotive e-commerce platform CarDoor has launched MarketCheck, a market-driven vehicle selling solution designed to streamline consumer-to-dealer transactions across Canada.
The launch comes alongside new survey data commissioned by CarDoor indicating that 56 percent of Canadians who have sold a vehicle report a negative experience, with dissatisfaction reaching 77 percent among Gen Z sellers citing lowball single-dealer offers, online algorithm estimates, and private sale safety risks.
MarketCheck allows private sellers to list their vehicle to a network of verified dealership buyers through CarDoorX, an exclusive dealer marketplace. Dealerships compete in real time for consumer inventory, generating a market-backed purchase offer. Upon offer acceptance, CarDoor manages vehicle inspection, documentation, door-step pickup, and immediate payment.
“When you try to sell your car, every offer you get is really just someone’s best guess,” said Imran Vasta, President and Co-Founder of CarDoor. “Neither a dealer’s single offer, an online instant offer from an algorithm, nor a private buyer’s opinion tells you what your car is actually worth. MarketCheck changes that.”
For retail automobile dealers, the companion CarDoorX portal offers a direct consumer vehicle acquisition pipeline with zero buy fees, managed inspections, and streamlined title transfer processing. Currently operating across Ontario, CarDoor plans further expansion across Canadian markets in 2027.
For Canadian auto dealers and pre-owned inventory managers, the platform introduces a competitive digital channel for sourcing privately-owned pre-owned inventory.
