The product mix was anchored by the Tucson compact SUV, which secured 4,387 overall deliveries following the mid-season debut of a bold new Night Edition trim package.

Capitalizing on major sports-marketing alignment as Canada co-hosts its first-ever global soccer tournament, Hyundai Auto Canada Corp. established its best-ever June sales volume in company history. The manufacturer moved a total of 14,900 units across the country, backed by targeted retail financing incentives across its dealership network.

The product mix was anchored by the Tucson compact SUV, which secured 4,387 overall deliveries following the mid-season debut of a bold new Night Edition trim package. The Elantra held the number-two volume position with 2,998 units, while the Kona subcompact rounded out the top tier with 2,392 internal-combustion models and an additional 562 units for the pure-electric Kona EV configuration.

To bolster the regional sales pace, Hyundai deployed its “Next Starts Now” promotional strategy, offering buyers up to a 1.0% finance/lease rate reduction or $500 direct cash incentives.

Rate Cuts Extended into “Extra Time” Through July 31

“Our dealer network has embraced this unique, historic moment in our country by creating engaging customer experiences and pairing them with compelling offers across our lineup,” stated Steve Flamand, President and CEO of Hyundai Auto Canada.

Dealership spaces across the provinces integrated dedicated match-viewing zones and local contests, with select new-vehicle deliveries tied to FIFA World Cup 2026™ ticket giveaways. While the tournament concludes on July 19, Hyundai corporate confirmed the rate-reduction sales event will extend into “extra time,” running through July 31, 2026.

Concurrently, Genesis Canada preserved its market momentum within the premium ecosystem, posting 802 luxury unit sales for the month. The GV70 crossover anchored the brand’s luxury pipeline with 538 units delivered, out-turning the flagship GV80 SUV (168 units), reflecting steady, non-negotiated luxury asset turn rates heading into the second half of the fiscal year.
