Hyundai Auto Canada has rolled out the 2026 Tucson Hybrid Night Edition, signaling a calculated adjustments to the pricing layout of its top-selling SUV in the Canadian market. Entering the retail line at a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $42,799, the Night Edition officially establishes a more accessible baseline cost for the platform’s hybrid inventory, slotting beneath the N Line configuration.
For the national dealer body, this vehicle configuration—built off the high-volume Preferred AWD trim with the Trend package upgrade—delivers a strategic showroom tool to capture B2C buyers demanding electrified powertrains at a lower acquisition cost. The model introduces distinct aesthetic upgrades including gloss-black 19-inch alloy wheels, matching black mirror caps, darkened window trim, and model-specific badging, while retaining the standard 1.6-liter turbocharged hybrid powertrain generating 231 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque.
“The Tucson Hybrid Night Edition brings a new level of visual expression to our best-selling SUV, while reinforcing our commitment to electrified powertrains as a premium offering within the lineup,” stated Fabio Cappella, newly appointed Director of Product and Corporate Strategy at Hyundai Auto Canada.
The hybrid variant is actively shipping to Canadian dealer networks and is available for immediate inventory allocation.
