Subaru Canada (SCI) has announced the official appointment of Yoichi Hori as its new Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer.

Hori succeeds former Chairman, President, and CEO Tomohiro Kubota, following the completion of Kubota’s three-year and four-month tenure. SCI extended its gratitude to Kubota for the dedication and transformative leadership displayed throughout his time guiding the Canadian operations. In a significant consolidation of regional oversight, Hori will concurrently maintain his current responsibilities as Chief Executive Officer of Subaru Corporation globally, alongside his roles as Chairman and CEO of Subaru of America

The executive transition signals a deeper integration of the Canadian dealer network with broader international corporate strategies. The SCI team expressed strong enthusiasm to leverage Hori’s extensive global expertise and deep understanding of diverse automotive markets to drive the brand forward.

“I want to express my gratitude to Tomohiro Kubota for his exceptional leadership and dedication, which have greatly contributed to Subaru’s growth and success in Canada,” said Hori. “I am excited to build upon this foundation and lead Subaru Canada.”
