Edgar Estrada Named CEO of Volkswagen Group Canada

Edgar Estrada adds responsibility for Group functions to existing role as President, Volkswagen Canada and succeeds Vito Paladino, who moves to Audi of America.

Volkswagen Group Canada is proud to announce that Edgar Estrada, current President of the Volkswagen Brand in Canada, will add the role of President, Volkswagen Group Canada effective April 1st, 2026.

Mr. Estrada will take on a broad range of responsibility for functions of the Volkswagen Group in Canada, including oversight of all four brands within the group.

He joined Volkswagen Canada in 2024 from the company’s Mexican operation, where he had held a series of progressive roles with the group since joining the company in 1999. He has led the brand to consecutive sales records since his arrival in Canada.

Edgar succeeds Vito Paladino, who effective April 1st will take on responsibilities as Head of Audi’s North American Region and President and CEO of Audi of America.
