VinFast Launches Initiative to Feed Families in Need

Vietnamese automaker VinFast is once again relying on solidarity to make a difference in Canada. Between now and December 15, 2025, the company has pledged to donate the equivalent of 100 meals to Food Banks Canada for every test drive taken at its showrooms.

The goal is ambitious: to reach 2,000 test drives and provide 200,000 meals to families in need.

Last year, the campaign was already a resounding success. Canadian motorists exceeded expectations by more than 25%, totaling more than 1,250 test drives and enabling VinFast to raise $62,900 for the cause.

Building on this momentum, the brand is doubling its ambitions this year and inviting consumers to get involved again.

“Get behind the wheel, discover the innovation of our electric vehicles, and help feed local families,” says the company, which also encourages participants to bring a friend, with each additional test drive adding 100 more meals to the total.

It’s a great way to combine sustainable mobility and social engagement while discovering the technology of VinFast’s new generation of electric vehicles.
