Charging at home is the easiest and most cost-effective way to fill up an electric vehicle for most of our customers. So, to help make the electric vehicle journey even simpler, it just made sense for Ford of Canada to help make charging at home even more accessible for our customers with home charger and standard installation promotions at dealerships across the country. That’s why we’re excited to extend the Ford Power Promise promotional offer until June 30, 2025

The Ford Power Promise is a comprehensive program designed to give electric vehicle shoppers the confidence from day one to go electric with Ford by proactively addressing some of their most important questions around electric vehicle ownership—questions like how to charge at home, where to charge on the road, battery care and who can I reach out to for help if I need it?

A key benefit of Ford Power Promise is helping our customers understand that home is where the charge is.

When home charging, the estimated fuel savings over a 5-year ownership period for a 2024 Mustang Mach-E Premium standard range RWD is about $12,500, and $11,500 for a 2024 F-150 Lightning XLT.

Don’t get us wrong—the ability and freedom to conveniently charge your electric vehicle away from home is important, which is why we’re so proud to tout the work Ford has done to make that easier for our customers—from expanding the BlueOval™ Charge Network, to delivering fast charging adapters for our customers at scale to use on other charging networks.  But for the vast majority of electric vehicle owners, the ability to plug in their vehicle at night and wake up in the morning ready to go is the ultimate life hack.

For electric vehicle owners, home is where the charge is.

  • Accordng to NRCan, more than 80% of charging happens at home.
  • Based on Ford internal data, home is the preferred charging location for Canadian Ford electric vehicle owners.
  • Since launching the Ford Power Promise in Canada, electric vehicle customers across the country have benefited from charging at home.

Not familiar with the Ford Power Promise? It’s a customer-insight led program that helps remove the “what do I do?”  from going electric.

Key Features of the Ford Power Promise include:

  • Easy access to home charging solutions, such as a limited-time offer of a complimentary home charger and standard installation (or an option to purchase a discounted home charger and standard installation bundle for Quebec residents) with the purchase or lease of an eligible new Ford Mustang Mach-E, F-150 Lightning, or E-Transit electric vehicle.
  • On-the-Road Charging: One app to locate over 180,000 chargers across networks, including Tesla Superchargers, activating and payment.
  • Battery Confidence: An eight-year/160,000-km high-voltage battery limited warranty.
  • 24/7 Support: A dedicated team of advisors to offer continuous support, including complimentary roadside assistance with charging support.
