GM Canada is excited to announce the appointment of Crystal Hyde as the new Director of Product & Technology Communications. With a distinguished career in technology communications, Crystal brings a wealth of experience to her new role at GM Canada.
Crystal’s recent tenure as the head of communications at Visa showcased her ability to drive innovative communication strategies. Her impressive background also includes pivotal roles at BlackBerry and a proven track record in consulting, demonstrating her versatility and depth of knowledge in the field.
Crystal Hyde succeeds Natalie Nankil, who has taken on the role of Director of Corporate Communications. Natalie’s contributions have been instrumental in shaping GM Canada’s communication strategies, and the company looks forward to her continued leadership in this new capacity.
Brand Assignment Changes
Michelle Burnham, currently Chevrolet Brand communications lead, is going on maternity leave in July and we have made the following changes to the team:
- Erin Strulovitch currently Cadillac Brand Lead will transition to Chevrolet.
- Aliyah Menezes will join the Communications team as Brand Lead for Cadillac. Aliyah is currently the Senior HR Business Partner—VSM, CCA, OnStar & Finance and began her career with General Motors in 2016 where she was hired as Talent Acquisition Recruitment Coordinator. Subsequently, Aliyah has held increasingly responsible positions as Recruiter and HR Partner, supporting CTC in its growth and culture, and more recently the commercial side of the business VSM, CCA, OnStar and Finance organizations.
- Kristy Brown will maintain her focus on the Buick and GMC brands.
Georgina Gonzalez will continue to support the coordination of our media fleet.
