Subaru Canada retailed 5,448 units in September, marking a 30.2% or 1,265 unit increase over September 2022.
This was supported by the best month ever for Solterra and the best September ever for both Crosstrek and BRZ.
Bestsellers
The all-electric Subaru Solterra recorded its best month ever with 234 units sold. This is 16 units more than its previous best, set last month. The Solterra offers impressive capability and safety, characteristics that have become synonymous with what it means to be a Subaru and unique within the EV segment.
The Canadian favourite, Crosstrek, recorded its best September ever with 2,825 units sold. Being all-new for 2024, the Crosstrek takes a winning formula and improves upon it with refined comfort, bold new design and standard features such as Subaru EyeSight Driver Assist Technology with the new wide-angle mono camera, recipient of AJAC’s 2023 Best Safety Innovation award.
With a low centre of gravity, rear-wheel-drive layout and a 228-hp Subaru BOXER engine, The BRZ continues to provide driving thrills, retailing 122 units for its best September of all time.
Year to date
To date, Subaru Canada has sold 39,867 units in 2023, a 22.3% increase over the same time last year. This translates to an increase of 7,257 Subaru models sold during the same period in 2022.
“It truly was a September to remember,” said SCI Chairman, President, and CEO Tomohiro Kubota. “We are looking forward to autumn and soon the winter months, where our capability, reliability, and all-weather safety shine.”
