Nissan announced total Canadian first quarter (January-March) sales for the calendar year 2021 of 25,082 units, an increase of 27.6% versus the prior year.
The INFINITI Division reported total Canadian sales of 1,500 vehicles sold in the first quarter of 2021, an increase of 4.5% year over year.
Nissan Division highlights:
- The Nissan Rogue crossover remained Nissan Canada’s best-selling vehicle with 9,218 units sold, a 67.1% increase year-over-year.
- With a best month ever in March, the Nissan Kicks compact crossover recorded a total of 4,423 units sold in the first quarter, an increase of 66% year-over-year.
- Nissan Sentra sales rose to 2,245 units in the first quarter, up 92.9% from the previous year.
INFINITI highlights:
- The QX80 luxury SUV recorded 257 units sold, an increase of 77.2% since the previous year.
- The QX60 luxury crossover SUV recorded 406 units sold, an increase of 19.4%.
- The Q60 sports coupe sold 75 units, marking an increase of 7.1% year-over-year.
