The Montreal International Auto Show (MIAS) has decided to organize a 100% virtual event and is therefore cancelling its show at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal.

This decision is the result of the recent results of the pandemic and the uncertainty regarding the relaxation measures concerning the organization of indoor events for more than 250 people over the next few months.

A 100% virtual experience that is true to its mission

The SIAM will be highlighting a special virtual edition to be held online from January 20 to 24, 2021. At a time when the majority of events have had to be cancelled or postponed, the SIAM wanted to reinvent itself and maintain its presence in January. “It would have been easy to make the decision to simply skip a year, but we wanted to keep this traditional event in January despite the absence of the physical event. The SIAM is a true institution founded more than 100 years ago. Our objective, above all, is to be faithful to our mission, and to continue to offer the Quebec public a platform that allows them to discover the complete offer of the automobile market, and to facilitate mobility choices, all presented in one place! “said Francois Boisvert, President of SIAM 2021.

What does the virtual program have in store for us?

This virtual event, presented by the SIAM, promises to provide a new, dynamic, informative and more accessible experience than ever before while staying at home. The virtual platform will allow you to search for new products by exhibitor, new vehicle models, offers from car manufacturers, special promotions, and chat with representatives during the 5 days of the event from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The program of attractions such as the Electric Zone will be unveiled in the coming weeks on our website salonautomontreal.com.

More accessible than ever

Tickets for this virtual edition of the MIAS will exceptionally be offered free of charge to allow as many car enthusiasts as possible to discover the new features and get the information they need to make their mobility choices!
