The 2021 Lexus GX 460 is now on sale at Lexus Dealers across Canada.

The GX 460 is equipped with a 301 peak horsepower 4.6-litre V8 engine. A six-speed super electronically controlled automatic transmission features shift points optimized for smooth acceleration and responsiveness. Fitted with a gate-type shifter, GX drivers can also enjoy a manual shift experience.

Meanwhile, the GX 460 has a 329 lb-ft of torque – including ample low-end torque –with a 2,948 kg (6,500 lb) rating. The automatic load leveling rear air suspension and trailer sway control brake system enhance driver control while towing.

Triple LED headlamps with a pronounced Lexus L motif flank the front grille, while front and rear spoilers add a new dimension. Inside, there is steel, wood and aluminum accents that provides contrast. There’s room for seven, with three rows of seats cloaked in leather. Features of note include 3-zone independent automatic climate control, a 4.2” full-colour multi-information display, eight-way power adjustable front seats with driver’s seat memory system, 40/20/40 folding second row seats, and 50/50 third row seats that fold flush with the floor to maximize cargo space.

The GX 460 has a full-time four-wheel-drive with active traction control. It is also equipped with the Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System and a panoramic view monitor with driver and passenger camera plus under-floor view.

Every GX 460 is iequipped with a bunch of safety features, headlined by Lexus Safety System +. This portfolio of active safety technologies supports the driver’s awareness and decision-making under a range of traffic conditions and contingencies. Other safety systems include 10 airbags, the Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and front and rear clearance sonar systems.

The GX 460 is available in the following model and trim configurations:

• The 2021 Lexus GX 460 Premium Package features 18” alloy wheels, heated and ventilated front seats, heated outboard second-row seats, a heated steering wheel, rain sensing wipers, and a power moon roof.
• The 2021 Lexus GX 460 Executive Package builds on the Premium Package, adding 19” alloy wheels, enhanced five-stage crawl control system, multi-terrain select system, a transmission cooler, additional fuel tank armour, a rear seat DVD entertainment system, and a front console cool box.
