First Canadian Financial Group acquires Pro-Tech Seal

First Canadian Financial Group (FCPFG) announced the acquisition of Pro-Tech Seal Manufacturing, one of Canada’s largest automotive aftermarket companies, allowing FCPFG to expand its offering to automotive dealers across Canada.

Pro-Tech Seal, a western Canadian company founded in 1986, develops, markets and implements fully insured protection programs, which it has been providing to automotive, marine and RV dealers for over thirty years.

In 1986, Pro-Tech Seal started as a chemical company and over the years, developed ancillary services to support its products by providing protection for automobiles, recreational vehicles and boats that range from exterior chemical products to road hazards for wheels and tires, as well as anti-theft systems.

“Our offering is complementary, so the addition of Pro-Tech to our portfolio is a good fit, it was a natural fit – both for us as a company and for the dealers we serve,” added Mr. Wheaton.

The integration of the companies will be seamless, as Pro-Tech Seal will continue to operate under the umbrella of First Canadian, in parallel with CFFM’s programs, to ensure business continuity.
