COVID-19 impacts yet another automotive event.

Following directions from Ontario Public Health Officials that all events involving more than 250 attendees be cancelled, organizers of the Ottawa Gatineau International Auto Show have announced the postponement of this year’s event.

“We will provide more information soon for our partners, exhibitors, those who have purchased advanced tickets, and other stakeholders,” organizers said in a written statement. “Updates will be distributed by email, through social media, and on our website at www.autoshowottawa.com.

The Ottawa Gatineau International Auto Show is the latest in a long list of cancelled or postponed auto industry events, which includes (so far):

  • The Geneva International Motor Show
  • Vancouver International Auto Show
  • TADA ACE event
  • New York International Auto Show
