2020 Porsche Taycan debuts at the Ontario Science Centre.

More than 300 guests were invited by Pfaff Automotive Partners to the company’s 2020 Porsche Taycan launch, which took place in late February at the Ontario Science Centre in Toronto.

While all dealers in the Greater Toronto Area held launch events on the same evening in February, Pfaff decided to hold their event at the Ontario Science Centre, “because we felt the venue fit with the Taycan’s message of innovation, and had enough space to house the 300+ guests,” said Laurance Yap, Creative Director, Pfaff Automotive Partners.

The Taycan is the first fully-electric production model from Porsche, and is available in two flavours, both with all-wheel drive. The so-called Turbo model (it’s electric, so there is no turbo) starts at $173,900, and the Turbo S, at $213,900. Both boast 460 horsepower, but the Turbo makes 626 lb-ft of torque, while the Turbo S makes 774 lb-ft.

Both models guarantee to make your heart skip a beat.
