The Miles for Sight campaign sees Pellicciotta, owner of CARSTAR Oakville West and a 30-year veteran of the network, traveling to Canada's four extreme points.
CARSTAR Canada is backing franchise partner Lorenzo Pellicciotta as he completes a seven-week coast-to-coast motorcycle journey across Canada in support of CNIB and Canadians living with vision loss.
The Miles for Sight campaign sees Pellicciotta, owner of CARSTAR Oakville West and a 30-year veteran of the network, traveling to Canada’s four extreme points, touching three oceans, and stopping at more than a dozen CARSTAR collision facilities across Ontario, Quebec, the Prairies, British Columbia, Yukon, and the Atlantic provinces. The initiative carries a fundraising target of $100,000 for CNIB programs.
Pellicciotta’s ride will culminate in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he will be recognized by industry peers and franchise partners during CARSTAR’s annual national conference, Impact 2026.
“This ride is deeply personal to me and my family,” said Pellicciotta. “CNIB has played an important role in my daughter’s life, and this journey is my way of giving back while helping raise awareness for Canadians living with sight loss.”
“At CARSTAR, giving back to our communities is part of who we are,” added Dave Foster, SVP of Operations & Development at CARSTAR Canada. “Lorenzo’s dedication, passion, and commitment to making a difference embody the spirit of our network.”
This cross-country drive demonstrates corporate social responsibility and network cohesion within the Canadian automotive service sector.
