CARSTAR Hosts Regional Estimator Training and Community Drive in London

CARSTAR Canada has conducted a dedicated training session for collision repair estimators across the London, Ontario market. Held at the Don-Mor CARSTAR Collision Community Engagement Centre within the Humane Society London & Middlesex’s Old Oak Animal Campus, the professional development event combined classroom instruction with practical damage assessment modules.

Designed by CARSTAR Area Managers of Operations Chris Massey and Kevin Buckwald, the curriculum focused on strengthening core repair planning principles, improving estimate precision, and streamlining communication between repair facilities, vehicle owners, and insurance partners amid increasing vehicle complexity.

“Estimators play a critical role in every customer repair journey,” said Chris Massey, Area Manager of Operations at CARSTAR. “Their ability to properly assess damage, create accurate repair plans, and communicate effectively with customers and insurance partners is essential to delivering a seamless repair experience.”

Alongside the technical curriculum, the event highlighted the partnership between Don-Mor CARSTAR Collision and the Humane Society London & Middlesex. Through its No Empty Bowls campaign, the Don-Mor team donated pet supplies during the session to stock the organization’s local Pet Food Bank.
