SATA Canada Prepares Deployment of jetstream Painting Automation

SATA Canada has detailed its North American rollout strategy for the jetstream, a robotic spray application system developed in partnership with CurveRobot. The equipment manufacturer plans to integrate a working demonstration unit at its Vaughan, Ontario training center by the end of this year.

Currently performing 35% to 50% of standard spray application workloads in European pilot installations, the automated system is engineered to handle routine refinish cycles. The technology allows certified painters to reallocate their time toward complex color matching, prep work, and specialized blending tasks where high-level technical skills yield the highest operational value.
