Simplicity Car Care has announced that its Ottawa Airport collision facility, located at 1885 Merivale Road, has successfully secured official Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) certifications from nine global automotive brands. 

The designations validate that the repair center complies with the rigid tooling, structural repair methodologies, and technician training mandates enforced by the vehicle manufacturers.

The comprehensive certification portfolio spans FCA (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Fiat, Alfa Romeo), Kia, Hyundai, Genesis, Honda, Acura, Toyota, and Lexus. Achieving these factory standards ensures that structural and cosmetic collision repairs conform precisely to original engineering specifications, a critical baseline for maintaining vehicle safety ratings and warranty integrity.

“OEM certification isn’t simply a badge on the wall — it’s a commitment to repairing every vehicle the right way, the way its manufacturer intended,” stated Paul Prochilo, Chief Operating Officer of Simplicity Car Care. 

Following this milestone, facility Director General Rony Haddad noted that the Ottawa team is actively pursuing dedicated electric vehicle (EV) structural certifications to support the regional growth of electrified commercial and passenger fleets.
