For over 25 years, the Thibault family has owned and operated ProColor Cabano. Today, Sebastien and his brother Pascal, who took over operations from their father in 2021, are excited to announce the acquisition of ProColor Shawinigan.
Sebastien says, “The shop reflects the same values as the one we already have in Cabano, including the importance of builders’ certifications, which are essential to us. It also has the same high-quality standards, which makes it a natural continuation of our way of working.” Over the years, ProColor Cabano has earned multiple distinctions, including the People’s Choice Award for Quebec and a recent honour from the local chamber of commerce.
Becoming an MSO was the goal all along for the Thibault brothers, and with this purchase, not only did they achieve that objective, but they have done so in partnership with longtime friend Yannick Rood and his wife, Melyssa Neault.
According to Sebastien, “the Shawinigan workshop is booming and offers considerable potential,” and the team is committed to making both shops comparable by aligning practices, standards, and the customer experience across locations. Work is already underway at the shop in Shawinigan to enhance operations by strengthening ADAS calibration capabilities and improving cycle time, estimation practices, and quality control throughout the entire repair process.
In addition to providing reliable, expert repairs, it is well known that the Cabano shop is active in the community, contributing to organizations including Ronald McDonald House Canada, the Hooked on School Foundation and the Centre de plein air familial de Cabano, Témiscouata sur le Lac. Sebastien says they “also want to bring this local involvement to our Shawinigan workshop. It is very important for us to give back to the community and to contribute positively to the environment in which we operate.”
Though the ownership of ProColor Shawinigan has changed, customers can be confident that the mission remains the same: delivering exceptional service, fostering meaningful relationships, and building strong ties within the community. Fix Network has accompanied the group of new owners throughout their succession planning journey, working closely with them to map out and execute a smooth transition. Backed by the expertise of Fix Network’s operations team, Sebastien, Pascal, Yannick and Melyssa are set up for long-term success as they continue the Thibault family legacy in Shawinigan.
