CARSTAR London Centre (Don-Mor) recently hosted a CAM Auto Glue Pulling Training Session at their facility, bringing together technicians from multiple CARSTAR locations across London, Ontario. The session reinforced CARSTAR’s commitment to technician development, collaboration, and consistent, high-quality repair standards across its local network.

The training was delivered by CAM Auto and led by Charles Aoun, focusing on advanced glue-pulling repair (GPR) techniques used in modern collision repair. Technicians from CARSTAR London Centre (Don-Mor), CARSTAR London East, and CARSTAR London West participated in a combination of technical instruction and hands-on demonstrations using real world repair examples.

The session emphasized the proper use of CAM Auto’s glue-pulling equipment and showcased non-invasive dent repair methods designed to restore panels efficiently while maintaining structural integrity and factory coat. Discussions and demonstrations highlighted the importance of correct tool selection, disciplined repair processes, and consistent technique to achieve repeatable, high-quality outcomes. The training also underscored how GPR methods can help reduce repair cycle times and limit the need for more invasive panel repairs or replacement.

“Bringing our teams together for hands-on training like this strengthens not only individual skills, but consistency across our locations,” said Jeff Brown, General Manager of Don-Mor CARSTAR. “Advanced techniques such as glue pulling allow us to complete repairs more efficiently while maintaining the quality standards our customers expect.”

By hosting technicians from multiple CARSTAR locations, the session encouraged shared learning and collaboration, helping ensure alignment in repair methods across the London market. Continued technician education remains essential as vehicle construction and repair methodologies continue to evolve.

“Investing in advanced training ensures our technicians stay current with industry changes and deliver consistent, high-quality repairs,” said Collin Welsh, CARSTAR Zone Director. “Sessions like this highlight the value of collaboration within the CARSTAR network and our commitment to modern, efficient repair solutions.”
