3M announced on August 5th the launch of the 3M™ Performance Spray Gun 2, the next generation of the highly acclaimed 3M™ Performance Spray Gun. Designed with collision repair technicians and painters in mind, this innovative tool now features a design uplift and several improvements, making it an essential addition to any toolkit.

Engineered to help enable improved productivity and efficiency within the paint process, the new 3M™ Performance Spray Gun 2 builds upon its predecessor with several enhanced features:

• One-piece integrated hook design enabling easy storage and accessibility.
• Laser marked control knobs provide a visual indication of spray settings, designed to help ensure precision and consistency.

• Sleek spray gun-frame surface finish helps enhance cleaning and maintain a professional appearance.
• Compatibility with current 3M™ Performance Spray Gun replacement parts, nozzles, and accessories, offers seamless integration with existing equipment.

The 3M™ Performance Spray Gun 2 allows technicians to spray a full-range of high-performance automotive coatings and boasts one of the highest transfer efficiencies for industry leading spray guns. By simply changing the nozzle, technicians can switch material within seconds from a heavy textured rocker guard coating to the finest clear coat atomization. The spray gun is also compatible with 3M™ HVLP or Fine Finish Atomizing Heads. The HVLP nozzle range remains from 0.9 to 2.0, and the Fine Finish Nozzle range has now been expanded to 0.9 to 2.0, covering all preferences of painters with both spray nozzle variants.
